Élisabeth Couture. Montreal, Quèbec.

A Elisabeth la conocí en Nueva York en 2012 en un taller de verano con Jonathan Fox, “Catching the story”.
Después nos volvimos a encontrar en Montreal en 2014 cuando fui al Leadership. Ella nos llevó en su coche a Yamachiche; lugar donde estaríamos por 3 semanas hasta nuestra graduación; Garth de Alemania, Cherae de Sur Africa y yo fuimos los primeros en llegar a la casa de René Marineau gracias al aventón que nos dió.
En su plan de ir a nuestra graduación, se encontró con Rodrigo, mi pareja; para llevarlo a Yamachiche.
Y en 2016 nos volvemos a encontrar para tomar un café y ponernos al día y realizar la primera entrevista.

I meet Elizabeth in New York 2012 in a summer workshop with Jonathan Fox, “Catching the story”.
We found again in Montreal 2014 when I attended Leadership. She take us in her car to Yamachiche, where would we be for 3 weeks until Leadership Graduation. Garth from Germany, Cherae from South Africa and me were the first to arrive to René Marineau house thanks to her.
She was going back to graduation and meet in Montreal with my partner Rodrigo to give him a lift to Yamachiche.
In 2016 we meet again to have a coffee and catch up and make the first interview.
Al final de la charla y fuera de cámara me sugirió hacer un blog en donde pudiera poner el material. Y por fin, 1 año después con 5 ciudades recorridas comienzo a subir entrevistas, fotografías de presentaciones, reseñas, pensamientos, dudas y comentarios de diferentes playbackeros.

At the end of the interview and out of camera she suggested to make a blog where I can upload all the information. And finally, after one year, 5 cities I began uploading interviews, pictures of performances, reviews, thoughts, questions, and comments of different playback practitioners.

Alejandro Morán. Montreal, Québec
Entrevista con Alejandro Morán.
Yo conocí a Alejandro y su trabajo a través de Mónica Bejarano. Ella entrenó y aprendió T.P. en Montreal y formó parte de su compañia Ollin Théâtre Transformation durante un tiempo. A su regreso a México fundó La Escafandra Ensamble Teatral Playback. Yo aprendí T.P. con ella desde el 2008.
En el árbol genealógico de La Escafandra, Mónica es considerada la mamá, por lo tanto; Alejandro tiene el papel del abuelo.
En una visita a México de Alejandro, nos encontramos con él los estonces escafandros y comimos unas enchiladas de mole en Coyoacán. Después fue a una de nuestras presentaciones y tuvimos una sesión de asesoría de la técnica con él.
Desde entonces mantuvimos el contacto por mail y facebook. Después lo encontré en Montreal en el 2014 cuando varios playbackeros fueron hacia Yamachiche a convivir con la generación que tomábamos el Leadership. Lo vi en México en un par de ocasiones más y en 2016 una vez más en Montreal: para ir al circo juntos, para la entrevista y le pedí que fuera mi testigo en la boda civil con Rodrigo en el mismo Montreal.
En la comodidad de su casa y rodeados de libros y fotos pude platicar con él acerca de su formación, la historia de su llegada a Montreal, y su encuentro y visión particular acerca del T.P.
Con todo el cariño y aprecio que te tengo Alejandro.

Interview with Alejandro Morán
I meet Alejandro through his work with Mónica Bejarano. She learned and trained Playback Theatrewith him in Montreal and was part of Ollin Théâtre Transformation. When she returned to Mexico she founded La Escafandra Ensamble Teatral Playback and I trained with her since 2008.
In La Escafandra family tree, Mónica is considered the mother, thus Alejandro is the grandfather.

Since then we keep contact by mail and facebook. Then in Montreal 2014 during the Leadership he reach to Yamachiche with few playback practitioners to meet the generation of students at the Leadership. A couple of encounters in Mexico and again we see each other in Montreal in 2016 to go to a circus performance, for the interview and I asked him to be witness in my marriage with Rodrigo in his city.
In the comfort of his house and surrounded by books and pictures we talk about his backround, the story of how he ends living in Montreal since about 35 years ago and his particular encounter and vision about Playback Theatre.
